Under state law, failure to receive a bill does not affect the validity of the bill or any interest and fines incurred due to late payment(s).  It is the responsibility of the homeowner to secure his/her bill when one is not received.

How do I change the name and/or address on the Water bill?

What happens if I do not pay my Water Bill?
Water bill payments must be received on or before the due date to avoid interest charges.

If payment is not made on or before the due date, the account will begin to accrue interest at a rate of 14% per annum, computed from the date the bill was due.

If the account remains delinquent, the amount that is delinquent is subject to being liened on the owner's property tax bill.  Half the delinquent amount plus interest will be liened on the 3rd quarter real estate tax bill and the other half will be liened on the 4th quarter real estate tax bill.

The payment deadline to avoid water/sewer lien is December 1st.
